Nearly into week 28 of Pregnancy now and we have almost bought what we think we will need (and probably a bit more too!). Walking into the spare room the other day and I was thoroughly amazed at the amount of stuff that is in there!

The rocking chair is not necessarily part of the baby stuff but was an impulse buy from Ikea when were out looking for baby stuff. It is very relaxing!

The Croc and Rat toys were just ace! Another purchase that I think is half for mum and dad and not just Harry!

Sunday afternoon and before the Grand Prix started I decided that it was time to construct some of the baby furniture that we purchased the other week from Ikea. So, screwdriver in hand I hauled the cot upstairs, having already constructed the chair the other day and opened up the instructions.
Me traditionally are not that good with looking at instructions, but experience has taught me that with these things it is crucial. I have to say that the more I buy from Ikea the more I am thoroughly impressed with them. As it turns out the screwdriver was not needed, in fact no tools at all because Ikea make things extremely simple to construct and all the necessary tools and fittings are included with item.

The cot was a doddle to put together, once I had the side of the correct way around! It has a floating floor in that you can change the height of the cot very easily for when baby is smaller and larger. It was quickly ready for the forthcoming arrival of little baby Harry and solid as a rock (well not quite but ample for a 6 - 8 lb baby!). I looks great next to the rocking chair, which is really a relaxing comfort spot for mum and dad after a long day working or baby sitting.
Today was the 20 week scan of Baby Wilkinson and it was the time to find out the sex of the baby. Helen has been convinved ever since the start of the pregnancy that it was a girl but I thought it was a boy. In fact I think most said that it was boy. Most, including myself were right - its’s a boy.

At first he was not for showing his sex but after a few prods and pokes from the ultrasound women he soon moved around to show us that he was a boy. The thing is, is that we were fine with girls names, in fact we had about 3 we both liked and would choose from. Boys however is a different matter, we have yet to come up with some solid ideas. We will have to get our thinking caps on!
